I had a terrible experience there last week. My daughter got a bad skin burn/abrasion , she went down a slide and at the bottom it had a large gash through it which caught her skin. When I told the assistant manager that my daughter was hurt, she said “oh, from the cut in that slide? yeah, we should tape it or something.” She didn’t ask if my daughter was ok, nor did she explain why they’d knowingly left such a dangerous condition on their equipment. She simply went back to chatting with her colleague and eating an apple. I certainly will never go back there.
Haven’t been here in a while, I was surprised they only accept cash now. They conveniently provide an ATM which if you use, will charge you an extra two dollars that goes directly to Jumpin’. Maybe I am too cautious but I am uncertain about the security of ATM’s provided by anyone other than a bank. I was also not satisfied with the security measures they have in place. Parents receive a bracelet with a number but the children do not. You sign your child ( or children) in under your name and number but there is no way for them to know if the child you are leaving with is the same child you checked in. Basically, this is little Johnny because I say this is little Johnny. That means I could grab any child and say he is little Johnny and there is no way to verify if he is or isn’t because he doesn’t have a bracelet. They actually weren’t even asking for the child’s name as you left. I think they are at a minimum supposed to verify that you came in with x amount of children and are leaving with x amount of children and that the children are leaving with a person who has a wrist band but when we left, our children who were all checked in under my friend ( another story) ran out the door with me. I didn’t have a wrist band and they didn’t check any of us. I started to usher the kids back inside to my friend who was waiting to check out but the person at the desk just waved my friend off and said not to worry about it, she was fine. The place was clean and the kids had fun but ultimately I do not feel comfortable going back .
Finally they added Wi-Fi and they will except credit cards. This is now a top notch place take your kids for a little exercise.
Over priced and the kids are under supervised. There is no security anyone could walk out with any kid….
I wish I could give this place a 0! Johnny the owner has no business working with little children. He drug my son up to me by the sleeve of his shirt and told me I need to talk to him about his behavior after three boys lied and said he bit them. I understand boys will be boys and will not play perfectly, but don’t accuse someone of being in the wrong until you have gotten to the bottom of the story. My 14 year old nephew saw the whole incident and said the boys were actually pushing my son down and tackling him. Not that it is Jumpin’s fault but to add to the story, the mom of the boys said she was calling the police on my 5 year old and flipped me off. Just to warn you of the clientelle they attract… Also their floors are disgustingly dirty. I will NEVER be back in this horrible business again!
The other reviewers are nuts. If you bring your kids to Jumpin or anywhere they are not the baby sitter. Be a parent, if you have kids take them to fun places and always beware. I have two boys and they love to go to Jumpin. They get burns, bonk heads, and have a great time.
This place is great! We took my 3 yr old niece there on a Monday morning and there were a few toddlers there playing. she loved it! hours of bouncing fun. they only charge $9.00 a for all day play per child which is very reasonable. You can leave and have lunch or bring your lunch and eat at the tables. Staff was very friendly. They were always available for questions and they do not supervise but they shouldn’t have too. Parents should supervise their kids. Shocker.
I will never return to the place both of my kids and another family ended up with Hands Foot & Mouth virus after playing at this place on 7/21/2014
Went there so often the owner let me in free once. For the cost the place is a steal plus they give a discount if you just want to go for a couple hours at night. Rent isn’t cheap at Centerra folks. For the best time don’t go on weekends prime time but in the countless visits my daughter and I went there not once did she ever have any major problems with other kids or equipment. Massage chairs for adults for 1$ you get three minutes 5$ for 15 and such was nice. We have gone there before after a movie or something and only a handful of people would be there often at night. Never a bad time to go unless it’s spring break possibly. Lots of indoor picnic tables and you can bring in your own food. The staff was always nice. 5 stars all day and night.
CLEAN FRIENDLY AND FUN
The staff were very friendly on check in. It was $9 per kid and free for adults. You can leave and come back as much as you want and bring in food from the outside. The facilities were very clean (clean restrooms too!) and offered many different bounce houses, slides and obstacle courses. There was even a small bounce house and play structures for little ones. Flat screen tv and free wifi for the adults. My 6 and 4 year old had a great time! Wonderful place to get their energy out.
$9.00 for my 4 year old son for an hour!! That is pretty steep. A movie is cheaper! Granted it is an all day pass, but who would stay there all day long?!?! This would be so nice to take your kids to for an hour or two after shopping or dr’s apt’s to reward good behavior. I don’t need an all day pass!
I don’t see me taking one let alone my three children there for that price for only an hour or two.
We have been coming here for years. I’ve had my sons 3rd and 5th bday party here. The price seemed to have gone up. I was disappointed but it’s still not bad everyone there is friendly. They have free wifi an my kids love it! Me any husband go in an jump with them an they are open all year around which is great in the winter time.
I took my kids here tonight not knowing what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised at how clean this place was, employees literally vacuumed twice while we were visiting. The kids had a great time and they even let you bring in outside food which I thought was super accommodating unlike other places that make you buy their food and charge you an arm and a leg. Thanks for a great night! Will be back for sure!
I had my son’s birthday here last month. It’s a simple and clean place and their Birthday areas are nice. That being said, it’s run by people that are far too young to handle the types of ‘rough’ adults that hang out there. During my son’s party a grown man was in the bouncy house and threw a ball so hard at my son’s neck that it left a giant red welt. When I found my son, hiding and crying, I confronted the man and when he merely laughed (pretty scary looking dude)- I went to the ‘management.’ Since the place is staffed by all teenagers, I didn’t feel too reassured. They basically gave me ‘oh well response’ and apparently it’s acceptable for grown adults to climb in those bouncy pits and be rough with other people’s children. Just a warning for other parents: the place is nice but some of the clientele are pretty scary and the teens running it clearly are untrained in those types of safety issues. Be aware of this before you drop $100 on a birthday party that ends in a grown man picking on your kiddo. Unfortunately it was a horrible end to a good birthday party and not exactly the memory I wanted my son to have from his birthday. He was very scared and upset when we left. We debated calling the police but decided it would just drag out the bad experience for my kiddo and we just left. Parents beware.
We came in on a Friday evening after 5pm for the first time, and I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of this place. There were a good amount of kids running around but they all seemed to be under 10 yrs, and well behaved.
I like that there is no fee for adults and it was only $5 for my son for as long as we were there, and that there are tables for parents to sit at and eat (you can get pizza delivered here!). It would appear that outside food/drink is allowed and there are also some concession items available for purchase.
This is a great place for young kids to get out their energy, especially during the winter when outside play may not be an option, and birthdays as well!
Took my two granddaughters there today and they had a blast. Great to have a place that allows you to bring in outside food and drinks. At one point some of the older kids got a little too rough but their parent noticed and took care of it.
I also want to say a HUGE thanks to the staff who found my wallet in the restroom and took it to the front desk!
This is a great place to go to show your young child a fun time while shaking off any excess hope you might have for humanity. You can watch toddlers bounce around joyfully as larger kids knock them over and step on their heads whilst parents gaze lovingly upon their cell phones.
Totally awesome kids of all ages groups have so much fun. Wish cleanliness would’ve been a little bit better
Surprise surprise surprise jumpin is still garbage came for my nephew birthday party still trash the owners and staff truely worthless thought i give them a another thought after a horrible party for my daughter 2-3 yrs ago really sad cant have your own party without paying a f up charge i will pray nightly this place goes out of business sooner the better
Perfect place to let the kids get their energy out on a cold day. Clean place. Clean restrooms. Friendly staff. Only thing to make it better would be some form of stamp in and check out to ensure that kids go home safely only with those who are caring for them.
We went today on Memorial Day and there were maybe 5 kids from 1-2pm. Place seemed clean and fun for kids! We were hesitant with all the bad reviews but for us staff was young kids but friendly and welcoming! My girls 5, and 1 had a great time running from one bounce house to the next. Only suggestion would be to have a few different obstacle course bounce houses and not so many that we’re just similar bounce houses. But my girls had fun and we will most likely be back!
This place definitely lived up to its name. There’s about 4 bounce castles and is kept relatively clean. The only thing I dislike is that they do not enforce the age rule (under 10 is their goal) and it makes it super easy for little kids to get hurt. I’ve been there on 4 separate occasions where older kids are running and tackling each other and have seen smaller kids pushed around and trampled. This of course is the responsibility of the parents of both the big and small child! I’m simply warning you to try to be mindful of the time you go and keep a close eye if you have a smaller child!
Really fun for the kids. A lot of bounce houses. Old school Arcade games in the back.
I’ll start by saying that my kids LOVE this place. It’s perfect for rainy or snowy days when they can’t go to the park, but need to burn off energy.
A few people have mentioned the prices. Yes it is a little pricey, but inflation is happening everywhere. I would rather fork out a little extra extra money helping a local business if it means my kids get to jump their energy out at this place, on a day they would otherwise be doing this inside, on my couch.
That being said, I don’t know what their cleaning policies are, BUT whatever they are they need to be majorly increased. Every single time we have gone, my kids are full blown sick within 24 hours. We decided to give it another shot last week and this little girl came up to me and my friend and told us that she was sick, and then we watched her cough all over the bounce houses, the toddler toys and our children. Within 24 hours my kid is running a fever with a runny nose, and woke up the next morning with a nasty cough.
It happens. I get it. Parents being sick kids to public place. But if you’re going to run a childrens entertainment center, then that entire place needs to be lysol’d down like every 2-3 hours. I would willingly pay more to know that was happening, but I have never once seen the attendant do any cleaning (been there 6-7 times).
I hope the owners can read this and up their cleanliness game because it’s not a place I’ll be bringing my kids to again unless we are absolutely desperate.
It’s a fun place for the kids to jump. I think the sign says they are targeting 10 and under for their age group. My kids 6 & 5 enjoy going, and we got a package making it way more affordable.
It has a lot of fun and exciting bouncy houses but their so-called “toddler section” is a joke. When we checked-in the attendant barely even knew that there was such a section. It’s sectioned off but very few honor it. There is a sign, one little sign, but for some inane reason it is tucked into a corner in the least visible spot. I had to be the a-hole parent who told the stream of older kids that the section was for toddlers. The other toddlers in there were sadly unsupervised by their parents We won’t be coming back.
Their place said they closed at seven so we showed up at six and there was only one person in there wasn’t even at the front when we walked in so we went to the bathroom and when we came out, he said if no one’s here by 6 o’clock they close and kicked us out even though we were there at six. Horrible service. Would never recommend this place.
I doubt we’ll be back as this place has really gone downhill. Went a few days ago and it was quite dirty and some of the equipment that used to be in the toddler area was no longer there. We were the only ones there for quite a while. For $10, it was a huge ripoff.
This place is so much fun for younger kids, the teenagers working were really sweet kids, and we stayed for hours. For $10 you can leave an come back with all day admission, bring in outside food/drinks, etc
