This place is so fun!! Sometimes with a family, it can be hard to find a place that is interesting for all ages. Color Me Mine is one of those places. My husband and I love date night here. We also love taking our two kids for a family night. We even plan to have my daughter’s birthday party here in a week- which I’m sure is going to be a blast!
And even though it is a farther drive for us, we prefer this particular Color Me Mine. The staff and the management are all amazing, extremely nice, helpful, and happy to be there. Not to mention, the mall’s re-model is amazing!
    I highly recommend this place!

Had an amazing time! What a cozy atmosphere and knowledgeable staff. Have visited other similar locations and this one stood out. My seven year old son was engaged and they spent the time helping to pick out colors and teach him techniques. We’ll be back!

We had an awesome experience here! It’s inside of Southwest Plaza Mall and if you haven’t see them all since they have remodeled, you need to! It’s beautiful!

There is a much bigger selection of things to paint than I ever remember them having at other locations, it’s crazy hard to pick out what you want to do! They have a ton of different colors and we’re very willing to help out picking techniques or colors. They were patient, helpful, and really made us feel welcomed.

They have a bunch of fun themed nights! The one I have to get back for is girls night out… the painting fee is less and they let you bring your own drinks!!! I can imagine how fun that would be!

My one tip is to leave plenty of time! I really didn’t think it would take as long as it did to paint everything! If you have little ones and need to take a break, they will let you, if you need to come back another time, that’s ok too!

    We will absolutely be back!

Color Me Mine! Or color me yours, theirs, or ours.. depending on who you’re deciding to color for. My kids, sister, and I each were coloring for ourselves.

On a regular / normal day, studio fees are $8-10 per person where children are around $8 and adults are $10. The fees exclude the prices of the pieces you choose to color.

We stopped in on Toddler Tuesday where it’s “$10 for toddlers to paint a collectable figurine , NO studio fee.” If you have young children, then Toddler Tuesday is a perfect promotion that allows a young child(s) to color pieces to their creative abilities without breaking the bank.

On a plate, the Color Me Mine employee showed my kids the optional pieces they would prefer to choose to color. The options were eight animals / creatures – dragon, monkey, cat, bear, frog, dog, horse?, and pig.

The kids eagerly chose the bear, pig, and dragon. The colors offered for the kids to paint on were endless. They also had more colors on a shelf near the front that you’re able to pick and choose from.

My sister and I were a bit jealous of the boys fun so we decided to paint our own pieces too. It was a relaxing painting process but it was short lived since the boys drowned their pieces in paint quicker than we expected.. less than 10 minutes to be exact.

Overall, the experience was fun for us all. The only “con” I can think of is the wait for the pieces to be glazed and fired.. it takes a week. I wish the Color Me Mine employee told us that before we started painting since that location was a bit of a drive from where we live. Plus, a week is longer than I expected since I’ve taken ceramics and pottery classes in the past but a factor to it is that they might not have enough pieces to fire up in a kiln in a short span so it wouldn’t be necessary to waste energy or unevenly heat pieces.

The studio is nice as is the staff. However with pieces costing a minimum of $14 and studio fees for adults and kids, it’s hard for 2 people to get out of there without spending $50. Bummer! Such a fun activity. Too bad its way overpriced.

I appreciate that they’ve become stricter with protocols for covid, but with this they need to make sure that if enforcing the protocols someone is always there to get paint for people when needed. I could tell she got frustrated when I got up and got paint but she had not been in the back for a while and I could not ask her to get any paint for us.
Again though- we’ve painted here many times before covid and this same lady has helped us many times and has always been super nice and helpful.
Another larger family came in as we were getting ready to leave and she had to keep asking the grown woman to keep putting the mask over her mouth and nose! She definitely has a tough job.
I was not super happy with the pottery available to paint. It was all very holiday specific (Halloween even) we made it work because my girls and I had been planning this painting date for a while…
I appreciate the staff members hard work in dealing with difficult customers and sticking to protocols during a pandemic.
    Please add more variety!

Came with my daughter last Friday after hearing about this store from my coworkers. My daughter had an absolute blast painting pottery! Alyssa and Abby were so helpful and friendly!

Will definitely have to come back and recommend to others!

We love coming here to paint pottery. This time we came and there wasn’t a single space open. They took our number and gave us a call when there was a table open. This is just fine since it’s in the mall and we could just shop around while we waited.

They have very limited selection on items to paint. I’d love to see more options and less of the already painted pottery.

The prices of the pottery are really high. Nothing is less than $28 plus a studio fee per person.

My coffee mug I made had a good amount of glaze that puddled inside my cup while it was glazing so it looks like there’s a bit of milk. Not really fond of that.

Over all it’s a great outing!

This place is wonderful for all ages! I am glad they moved out of the mall and into a bigger standalone space with plenty of parking. Bonus that it’s right by Sephora and Trader Joe’s. I brought my tween daughter to Color Me Mine, along with her little siblings and friends on a Saturday. I didn’t book a party but was able to get a large table to accommodate us all. The staff was very nice and knowledgeable. It took about a week for our pieces to be glazed and fired. We were really impressed with everyone’s work of art. My kids already want to go back to paint something else.

My daughter and her friends did this for her 14th bday and they had a great time. One friend said she hadn’t been to a place like this before and it was very therapeutic
