Description
The Girl Scout DreamLab in Denver, CO, is a vibrant, family-friendly destination where kids can **explore, create, and have fun while learning important life skills**. It features interactive activities such as a hands-on STEM lab with experiments and microscopes, a mini rock climbing wall (bouldering), a podcast recording booth, and an outdoor skills area with a faux campfire and tent to practice camping. The space is designed to be welcoming and inclusive for all children, not just Girl Scouts, and encourages trying new things, building friendships, and developing leadership skills in a safe and creative environment[1][2][6][7].
Key reasons why the DreamLab is particularly kid-friendly include:
– **Hands-on STEM projects** like making slime, conducting science experiments, and using microscopes, which make learning fun and engaging for kids who love to explore science[2].
– A **bouldering wall** that offers physical activity and challenges in a safe, indoor setting to help kids build confidence and strength[1][3].
– A **podcast booth** where kids can express themselves, interview others, and build communication skills through fun media projects[3][5].
– An **outdoor skills area** with camping practice around a faux firepit and tent, helping children connect with nature and develop practical outdoor skills[1][3].
– The DreamLab fosters **social interaction and mentoring** opportunities, encouraging older and younger kids to connect, share, and learn from each other[5].
– It is a colorful, lively space reflecting the Girl Scouts’ values and promoting inclusivity, welcoming kids of many backgrounds and ages to explore and be inspired[1][4][11].
Located in Denver’s Lowry neighborhood, the 4,000-square-foot center is easy to access and offers a unique mixture of science, outdoor adventure, creativity, and leadership development, all designed especially for kids to feel empowered, curious, and connected[1][5][7][10]. It also hosts birthday parties and community events, making it a great place for families to enjoy together[7].
In summary, the Girl Scout DreamLab is a dynamic, fun, and educational place perfect for kids to dream big, learn new skills, and have memorable experiences in a supportive, welcoming atmosphere.

15 Reviews on “Girl Scout Dream Lab”
We are here for opening day as a mom of another girl got us tickets for timed entry. Today is also the 110th birthday of Girl Scouts and the first of its kind in the country.
This is a new STEM center for Girl Scouts and in a brand new strip mall. Can’t wait to update with the inside! I will update my review after we go through the tour.
So there is quite a bit of activities as you can see from the pictures I posted, but honestly, given the hype and this is the first of its kind in the country, I thought it would almost be larger than life. It doesn’t seem like there will be a constant stream of events. It seems like all of this money was spent to improve STEM, but will largely gather dust. There is carpet in the experiment area which I’m sure will not hold up. The space is about the size of an average strip mall storefront, not what I imagined it would be. I thought it would be huge and it really isn’t. The employees were making the slime and the girls were mostly just watching. You can’t get them interested in things if you don’t let them be involved in the process.
The girls had a blast but it was incredibly crowded inside. I hope that’s not normally the case. There is a huge sitting area and I don’t understand why. I’m not saying it’s not worth a visit, I’m just saying the finished product didn’t live up to the hype.
We’ve been here several time since they opened. What a fun place to hang out and learn and explore. My daughter is a daisy girl scout and loves coming! It is open to the community not only Girl Scouts so please go and check it out.
Great opportunities for Girl Scouts to learn! Visited for career day and my daughter learned a lot
What a cool experience! Our troop recorded a podcast for our Breathe journey. The girls learned about how to write a script, record and edit it! It is inspiring future careers in journalism!
Troop 5951 from Boulder had an amazing bridging ceremony here. Staff was super fun! The girls loved the podcast booth, the beautiful decor, the craft– and the climbing wall.
Fun activities for kids, great learning opportunities. We’ve done a few free events here and they’ve all been fun for my five year old.
My girls love visiting the dream lab. There are a lot of fun free events and you don’t have to be a girl scout to stop by!
We attended an event at dream lab, we liked the place which is spacious and it is a nice place to engage kids.
Great place for our troop to meet. The girls had a great time! They came out from Lakewood for our robotics badge.
What a fantastic space! The folks who work there were wonderful and my daughter had an absolute ball. Highly recommended.
We love the GS dream lab and all the events they host for troops of all ages. We’ve attended 2 events and loved them. The spa e is amazing and the staff is so helpful and supportive of the girls creativity.
We had fun!! Lots of crafting! My girls troup loved making dragons and butterflies !!
My daughter and I had the opportunity of attending the Charles Schwab event at The Denver Girl Scout Dream Lab. All the the Charles Schwab volunteers who helped to run/guide the event were so knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The event space was neat and clean. The store front that they have was stocked with a nice selection for the girls.
We’ve been to a few dreamlab/gsco hosted events, held our troop bridging ceremony here last year and they’re always great! This troop just participated in a robotics and coding event and it was awesome!! These kids always enjoy the planned activities along with the opportunities for open exploring and play. We’ll continue to sign up for activities! My 6 year old son (not a girlscout) also loves coming here.
We visited the dream lab during a quiet morning to see what it had to offer troops! I wish every council had access to a space like this! The open and inviting space could lead to so much creativity for girls and leaders alike!
