Pretty good park. If you are looking for a 3-story tube slide, this park has that. Swings (2 regular, 2 infant), lots of slides and climbing structures, all red and fire truck themed. A large grass area, basketball court and a picnic pavilion. But no restrooms, which according to Arvada’s website is the norm for all parks in Arvada. And only wood chips under the play areas. Bring the right shoes and be prepared to be picking wood chips out of your toddler’s hair and clothes for days.
Wonderful place for a kids party and they love to play on the equipment provided with lots of shady spots!
My daughter loves coming here when we visit grandma. It’s truly amazing. Had so much fun.
Wonderful place to take little ones. We were in CO visiting family and our 4 yr old had a BLAST at this park. The firefighter details are a huge hit. The park was incredibly clean and from what we could tell, in a safe area. Also, it’s near a target if you need bathrooms or snacks before you go. We didn’t see a bathroom nearby but we stopped at target after we left. Also, there are spaces for soccer or baseball games. Very adorable. We went several times during our 6 days visit to Golden. We loved it.
A really great playground with lots of climbing options, a covered sitting space for picnicking and some benches to watch your kids.
There are a couple swing sets too.
While it is a fantastic set up, it’s way too dangerous for the toddler age group in my opinion if unsupervised. I followed my son like a shadow so he wouldn’t fall out of any of the openings at a higher heights.
I can’t complain too much cuz the stickers say age 5+. We still had a great time but my anxiety was high. I’ll bring my son back when he is older.
This place is a fun get away if you child is bugging to go to a park and have fun! My eight year old said ‘this is the most fun park in town” so thank you to the people who made this park and created it for little kids like mine to explore and have fun!
