Boondocks Food and Fun in Northglenn, Colorado, is a fantastic family-friendly destination packed with activities that kids love. It offers **year-round entertainment** including bowling with glow and neon lighting, laser tag, a huge arcade, miniature golf with fun features like waterfalls and a fire-breathing lizard, bumper boats to splash friends, and multiple go-kart tracks including a special track for younger “rookie” drivers between 48 and 58 inches tall[1][3][5].
Outdoor fun continues with a challenging ropes course nearly 40 feet high featuring 31 obstacles and an exciting 80-foot zipline, perfect for active kids and teens[1]. The kid-friendly play areas and soft play “kiddie cove” make it welcoming for younger children as well[4][5].
Families appreciate the variety because there’s something for all ages, allowing everyone to have fun together or explore their favorites separately. 12 Reviews on “Boondocks Food and Fun”
I have had a child’s birthday party here, and at times the place seemed too crazy to enjoy so I had not been here for some time. But recently, the center offered it’s golf area for a fundraiser and provided all the revenue received from the event to a family in need. Any establishment that offers such generosity in tough economic times should truly be rewarded. I will be going there again in the future!
Hi,
My name is John and I represent all the Boondock Fun Center’s located in Northglenn, CO…Kaysville & Draper, UT. I took the time to read each of the reveiws and its easy to write negative things about anything, but i would like to mention a few things.
1) The food differs from each park and the experience is different for each person or visit and the price is decent. So i wouldn’t base your decision on just that alone. I’v worked here for 6 years now and i personally love the food and the service that comes with it.
2) All park locations comes with a system called, “Code Adam”. Basically if you can’t locate your child simply grab any crew member and we’ll announce over our personal radios a “code adam” we then place people at all entrance’s and exit’s to ensure that we can locate the child if they do try to leave. we also look for the child in the park as well.
3) i wouldn’t say the park is or has a “gang-ish vibe” because then you’re stating that all the parks are like that. Now we have all sorts of different people coming in and out of the park, but we havn’t had any problems with gangs of that matter.
4) For Kiddie Cove, we try to schedule an employee there, but sometimes they help with arcade calls. if see anyone medium to large size in there, then we ask that you find an employee and we’ll take care of the matter.
5) As with most amusement parks and fun center’s, we all have things that are better than each other. Take the go-karts for example, we have different requirements for heights then other places and our speeds might not be super fast, but we want our park to be a safe and fun environment for our guest’s.
For the most part we want to let you know that we try to provide Excellent Service to all our guest’s that come visit us. We have also won an award from IAAPA in 2007 for #1 Fun Center in the world and contribution awards from the Utah Adoption Exchange.
Have a great day,
John Christensen
It’s fun coming here.. the go-karts are especially fun, as well as the laser!!
Fun place to have a kids party!! Even young adults will enjoy it!!
Took the grandchildren to Boondocks and we had a wonderful time. We all got unlimited passes and the kids could not get enough of the go carts. For the price you can not do better. The kids have already made plans to go back the next time they come visit us.
A few of the good games were out of order. Then the lady at the counter says my 7 yr old is tall enough to drive the Jr. Go karts.we stand in line for about an hr and the moron kid whos working tells me she’s not tall enough when clearly she was. After arguing he calls over someone else who say YES she is tall enough. At this point she doesn’t want to drive and starts to cry because she thinks she did something wrong. Boondocks needs to train there employees better on how to measure someone. I’m extremely upset and will NOT go back to boondocks.
This is my sons favorite place he is 3 almost 4 and loves playing all the games he just started getting to play the go carts and loves them. It’s is very busy at times but is still super fun. There food is good a little expensive but worth seeing the smile on my boys face.
we like Boondocks a lot. Had a birthday party with family here a few weeks back and they treated us great. Very affordable games too
I don’t usually leave reviews, lest bad reviews, but this place was beyond disturbing if you’ll keep reading. I went with my kids for the arcade and bowling. The bowling was mediocre, (the balls were greasy from other users who had eaten while bowling) and our area hadn’t been cleaned for us, we couldn’t even find a staff member so we didn’t mention it. Things took a turn when a fight broke out right next to us, and cops were called! It got pretty violent, it scared our kids to see fully armed police officers merely feet away from them, thanks for that environment! Afterwards when we flagged down a manager (which took almost 20 minutes) we asked to be refunded for our game and he said no! Because we had “played it” already. Bullshit! And when I asked “does this stuff happen often?” the manager responded “please don’t ask questions like that”. Whatever the hell that means! I STILL haven’t gotten refunded and I don’t give a shit to still bother but if I can prevent someone else from wasting their time and money I will.
This is seriously the best party place for a large group or family. They have something for everyone. Go carts, bumper boats, bowling, miniature golf and even arcade games. They have a little restaurant as well so you don’t even have to leave to eat. Make sure you let them know if it’s your birthday because you get to play free! I felt like a big kid here and honestly had the best time.
The price point is a bit high though so if your a family with multiple children I recommend planning ahead and eating before or after to cut cost.
Overly crowded and not worth the $$ you pay. Don’t do the unlimited 3 hours bc you’re lucky if your child gets on two rides. No one here has a sense of personal space and made me feel super uncomfortable. Don’t recommend if you take this pandemic seriously.
Hated the place. Mainly for the employees Nathan in specific. He’s very rude to all of the children there, he has an overall bad attitude and had an instance where he used racial slurs on my grandmother such as “monkey, cotton p****r” and various other insults to my African american people alike.
The staff is great and friendly, but the games are grossly overpriced. $6.00 to play a game to win 5 tickets in what world does that make any sense. I would personally avoid coming here.
